Mark Raper at the ReUnion Event Reports
Friday Night was Reunion Night. Another episode on the Castleford ParkStrife Calender.
Supported by yours truely, we wondered if this one would live up to the hype, after all FoTP had certainly made a big fuss, to get the riders to the hill and to take the opportunity of another wicked nights shred.
Would the Reunion be another one of the infamous Castleford nights? Would all the big plans Castleford had for this superpark come together?
More than 150 riders that had made the journey for the session were about to find out.
Again, the quality of the park was without doubt, awesome. The variety of features out on the hill was plentiful, plenty of lines, plenty of jibs and plenty for everyone. The center piece for this event; a 40ft long, behemoth of a butter box that dominated the snow.
The Reunion by design, was a night for the UK shred scene to get together, specifically those that wanted to catch up after the season just past.
